Nerima City [練馬区]
Anime Town, Tokyo Ward 20

The most recently established special ward of the Tokyo metropolis, Nerima has been historically known as a quiet city and a popular place to live (being the fourth largest ward of Tokyo by square kilometers, the second most populous, and the eighth least dense) with plenty of green spaces. It became the 'birthplace of anime' due to being home to Toei Animation, and is a popular tourism site for anime fans from around the world.

However, the past three years in the city have seen some exceptional changes in the character of the city, especially around the Ōizumi, Rokuyō, and Kamiitabashi districts. In addition, rumors abound of a metahuman, alien, or possible android in the eastern Nerima district with superhuman strength and leaping abilities.
